I can't say enough positive comments about her. Truly. And if I had to pick only one word to describe Aretha - it would be honest. When it came time for me to sell my home, Aretha gave me honest answers. Honest opinions. Not what I wanted to hear, but realistic, honest advice.The first home I purchased, my experience dealing with agents was just awful, and that process ended up in court. It left me with this horrible feeling against the real estate industry. We have all heard horror stories about selling or buying a home, from a friend or neighbour, a family member. As is with any profession. You have the good, and the bad. When it came time to selling my second home, I was so nervous about dealing with another agent. I even met with several agents, had several different evaluations and I just couldn't commit to anyone. Not that anything one thing stood out in a wrong way, but it never clicked in the right way. Until I met Aretha. I just knew. Honest, down to earth, and very personable. She went over and above in trying to sell my home. She always responded to my phone calls or emails immediately. She had several open houses, and promoted my home within several different avenues. She made me feel like selling my home was her top priority.And Aretha was knowledgeable - about the industry in general, about real estate specifically, and about the community. Being a business owner myself, you are sometimes leery of aligning or promoting yourself with another business or professional. If they come off as less than professional, or have any negativity towards their business venture - it reflects on yours as well. I have NO HESITATION in recommending Aretha.
